DESCRIPTION
Aerial objects or lights observed performing maneuvers or exhibiting characteristics not readily explained by conventional aircraft, weather, or known astronomical objects. Reports range from distant lights to close encounters with a defined craft.
BEHAVIOR
Commonly reported behaviors include silent hovering, rapid acceleration, sudden directional changes, and formations of multiple lights moving in coordination.
REPORTED HABITAT & LOCATIONS
No fixed habitat. Sightings are reported everywhere, though rural areas with dark skies and proximity to military installations or airports show higher report volume.
